Orlando Photographer photographs dogs in need
For years, I’ve been volunteering my time photographing the dogs of Orlando at the Orange County Animal Services. It’s a way to give back to my community and what better way to do it than to help the dogs out!
These dogs deserve the world!
I started photographing the dogs with Pawsitive Photography, met some great people, then Covid happened. Pawsitive retired but I wanted to continue the work so my friend Alexa and I go every month to play with and help get the dogs adopted with some amazing photos. The photos you see below were from a shoot I put together with some amazing people and dog lovers.
It’s always emotional coming into Orange County Animal Services (OCAS) and seeing how many dogs are there. More come in every day and it’s the job of the workers and all the volunteers to find forever homes for those animals. Seeing the dog’s faces light up when they are taken out and into the play yard alone is worth it.
