Hey beautiful people! My name is Mike and I am the owner and lead photographer at Sonacity Photography. My passion in life is creating images that can be cherished for years to come. It is all about fun in my world, and if you’re looking for a hype man on your wedding day look no further. I will make sure you look and feel beautiful. My goal is to get the most authentic and happiest moments of your lives documented. That means my job goes beyond creating dramatic poses, lighting setups, and clicking the camera. I make it a point to learn about you and your family.

For some people this will be the first time a professional is photographing them. That can be nerve-wracking! But I love to help a shy bride or groom realize how freaking gorgeous their smile can be and how fun taking photos can be! Ya’ll are gonna slay! I pride myself on delivering images that capture real, true and deep emotions. This is your day and I want you to experience it fully.

A little history.

I got a camera as a college graduation gift and began playing around with it. I did what every photographer does when they get a new camera, and that’s taking photos of cats. My love for the art grew and I eventually began photographing weddings. I absolutely adored everything about the wedding day and continued to learn and photograph them.

I am a go-with-the-flow kind of guy and will help with any stress the day of! My photography journey has taken me around the world and has given me the ability to give back to my community. I am the former president of The Professional Photographers of Central Florida PPCF and am a photographer volunteer at the Orange County Animal Services photographing dogs. Fun fact, it’s where we got Millie! I’m proud to say that I’ve won awards for my photography but nothing brings me more happiness than seeing the fun my couples have on their wedding day.
